About Us
Family Owned and Operated since 1989
Somerset Tree Service Ltd. is spearheaded by Arboriculture expert Art Cox; a die hard local born and
raised in the High River area. He prides himself on his extensive knowledge of the insects and diseases
that infect the various tree species of the Foothills region. As one of the earliest ISA (International Society
of Arboriculture) Certified Arborists in the surrounding area, he has over 25 years of experience in the
field as well as an education through the Landscape Gardening Apprenticeship Program at Olds College
in Olds, Alberta. Combined with his continuous efforts to remain at the forefront of new information,
techniques, and skills in the Arboriculture industry through attending ISA Prairie Chapter conferences and
many other various outlets, there is simply nobody more qualified to care for your trees in the Foothills region.
To ensure that Somerset Tree Service Ltd. will provide you with the best service possible, Art backs himself
with a team of highly educated Arborists who hold various different certificates and qualifications through
the Arboriculture Canada training program, Olds College, and Sir Sanford Fleming College. All staff members
also continuously update their skills and knowledge through the very same information outlets as Art Cox
himself to serve clientele on an exceptional level. This also ensures that the staff can carry out operations
in the safest and most efficient manner possible.
With roughly 50 years of combined experience, there is no other Arboriculture outfit who understands just
how delicate the life of a tree can be in the Prairies/Foothills as well as Somerset Tree Service Ltd. This understanding
makes us by far the best suited team to serve you, and more importantly your trees.
